THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Blue Seats Restaurant Review:
A self-described "Sports and Media Bar," The Blue Seats has earned that description based on their whopping 62 screens and their pride in presenting as many sporting events as available, including pay-per-view Ultimate Fighting Championship cards. Private parties can be hosted in rooms or booths, or diners can high-five with strangers to every A-Rod A-bomb. Named after the seats at Madison Square Garden, this Lower East Side spot offers Sabrett's all-beef hot dogs ($3) during baseball season like at a typical arena concession stand, but also a raw bar. There are plenty of sandwich and snack options, including a poor man's surf and turf: lobster roll and burger slider. Light eaters who eschew bar food will appreciate offerings including watercress salad with apple-cider vinaigrette, sliced apples and walnuts. The kitchen stays open until 3 a.m. on weekends.
