Blue Smoke Restaurant Review

: From restaurateur Danny Meyer (The Modern, Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Café) comes this downtown outpost of his barbecue spot Blue Smoke. Start off with snacks and appetizers like salt and vinegar pork rinds, oysters on the half shell, or chicken liver toast with apple preserves. Among the barbecue specialties are Memphis baby-back ribs, Kansas City spareribs, salt-and-pepper beef ribs and pulled pork. The menu also features a shrimp burger on a brioche bun, fried chicken with cheddar-black pepper biscuit, and New York strip steak with shallot-herb butter and sautéed spinach.
