Bombay Bistro Restaurant Review: One of the very early Indian restaurants in the area, Rockville’s Bombay Bistro has always been a hit, with a kitchen and menu overseen by the talented chef K. N. Vinod. It's all about casual fun and good times, and often there's a young crowd enjoying curries and dosas. We recommend the tandoori-baked breads including garlic naan; the consistent lamb vindaloo, which is appropriately hot and sour and served in generous portions; Goan fish curry; and the smoky-flavored dal makhani. "Garden" (read vegetarian) dishes are available, too. The famous daily buffets make an excuse for overeating. Why not try one of the chef's refreshing fruit drinks like the mango lassi with your meal? Whatever you do, save room for the mango ice cream.
