Bombay Bistro Restaurant Review

: One of the very early Indian restaurants in the area, the Rockville Bombay Bistro (really like a bistro) has always been a hit with a kitchen and menu overseen by the talented chef K. N. Vinod. It's all about casual fun and good times, and often there's a young crowd enjoying curries, naans and dosas. We recommend the consistently good lamb vindaloo, which here is appropriately hot and sour---and in generous portions---and the smoky-flavored dal makhani. We also like the "garden" (read vegetarian) dishes and swear by the tandoori-baked breads. The famous daily buffets make a good excuse for overeating. Why not try one of the chef's refreshing fruit drinks, like the mangolada, with your meal? Whatever you do, save room for the mango ice cream.
