Bombay Brasserie Restaurant Review:
Bombay Brasserie seduces with its smart main restaurant and plant-filled conservatory with an open kitchen. Part of the Taj hotel chain, this is a self-confident, delightful place where the cooking never fails to please. Potato cake with white peas and chutney; soft shell crab accented by ginger; mains of tandoori chicken supreme with yoghurt and cardamom; green mango prawns; Goan fish curry; and chicken pepper masala: all the classics are present on an extensive menu. For the die-hards, the Sunday lunch buffet remains as a touch of the great past and there is a set Tiffin Menu, too, both at £28. Service is as enthusiastic and gracious as ever.
