 Bombay Palace is a romantic, high-ceilinged space with a sweeping marble bar, plush banquettes and a gallery of niches on the walls holding gilded Indian figurines. Classic Indian dishes are well executed: chicken, lamb, fish and traditional Indian breads cooked in the tandoor as well as curries, vegetarian specialties and basmati rice pilafs. The iron-hearted will enjoy such fiery dishes as seafood vindaloo and ginger-chicken-pepper fry. The daily buffet lunch is a reasonable $14 Monday through Friday.
