THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bonefish Grill Restaurant Review:
Specializing in pairing the freshest oak-grilled fish with imaginative complements, this dimly lit, handsome emporium features dark woods, ceiling fans, wine racks and white linen tablecloths---plus a 22-seat bar with TV screens and adjacent granite-topped communal tables. Tuscan bread comes with an appealing pesto-olive dipping sauce. We like the coconut-crusted shrimp or the calamari flash fried in a slightly sweet and spicy Asian-inspired sauce. The pecan- and Parmesan-crusted sautéed rainbow trout topped with artichoke hearts and fresh basil is a winner. Seasonal grilled seafood---such as Atlantic salmon, Alaskan halibut, and sea scallops with Gulf shrimp---comes with lemon butter, virgin Mediterranean and warm mango sauces, and is accompanied by a choice of potatoes au gratin, garlic-whipped potatoes, angel hair marinara, jasmine rice or steamed vegetables. Among specialties are chicken Marsala, boneless pork chops with Fontina cheese and prosciutto, and wood-grilled filet mignon. An array of martinis, American beers and a nice wine list enhance the cuisine. Graham cracker- and roasted pecan-crusted-Key lime pie, a chocolate-macadamia nut brownie with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée with berries are tempting sweet finales.
