![]() Border Grill Stop Restaurant Review: From the "Too Hot Tamales," Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, comes the Border Grill Stop, a quick-service kiosk at the Figueroa at Wilshire building in downtown Los Angeles. The morning menu includes breakfast burritos, muffins and spiced-up specialty coffee drinks, while lunch offers green corn tamales, citrus chicken quesadillas, and tacos (carne asada, Yucatan pork or grilled chicken varieties). There are also Cuban sandwiches and fun cones filled with Peruvian ceviche or quinoa fritters. Desserts include guava cheese empanadas and warm, griddled pecan-banana bread. |
