| It’s all about the beer at Boscos Squared, where cask-conditioned ales are brewed on-site. Microbrew connoisseurs won’t be disappointed with the nutty Midtown Brown, the hoppy Bombay IPA, and various seasonal brews. Not only do staff recommend beer pairings for the diverse menu offerings (think burgers, pastas, salmon and steaks), but the cooks also use beer to season the crust for the wood-fired pizzas. The ambience is casual, but the polished wood décor lends the place a classy vibe. And given its proximity to both a movie theater and a live theater, Boscos Squared is perfect for pre-show appetizers (try the fried baby artichokes). Stop in on Sunday for brunch and live jazz by local diva Joyce Cobb. Ask about the chef’s daily special for dessert or go with the tried-and-true chocolate torte cake.
