Southie has come a long way throughout the years, and this handsome bar seemed to kick start the introduction of yuppies to the area.

Boston Beer Garden Restaurant Review

: Kick-starting the gentrification of rough-and-tumble Southie, this handsome bar is a magnet for the local yuppie set. Exposed brick walls and flattering spot-lighting is the backdrop for a raucous nightly younger singles' scene. While it can certainly get rowdy at night, a lunch and early dinner crowd flocks here for bar classics like quesadillas, nachos, wings, fries and skins served up with a nice frosty microbrew. We like snacking on the margherita pizza at the bar while watching a game, or you can grab a seat in the main dining room and order a steak and cheese or chicken Parm sub. There are also lettuce wraps and Cubanos as well as tiramisu for dessert. While the food is traditional pub grub, the number one reason to frolic in this garden is for the brews.
