Located just around the corner from Fenway Park, this boisterous brewpub, with an industrial chic interior lined with TVs, is jam packed before a Red Sox game. But for those in the know, it’s a party even when there's no home game. The glassed-in, on-site brewery produces flavorful beers named in honor of Boston: Beantown Nut Brown, Fenway American Pale Ale or Curley’s Irish Stout. Start with a Bunker Hill Bluebeery Ale (complete with floating blueberries) or a seasonal Pumpkin Works Ale and pair it up with a plate of “infamous” nachos. Addictive sour cream and chive fries, served in a bucket, can be ordered as an appetizer or side. The encyclopedic menu contains everything you would expect from a brewpub, from burgers and pizza to fried chicken and steak tips, with some surprises like the mako shark skewers. For dessert, don’t miss the mud pie with chunks of Oreo and peanut butter cups.
