Boston Sail Loft Restaurant Review: Jutting out over Lewis Wharf, the Boston Sail Loft capitalizes on its seaside location with dishes ranging from clam chowder and steamed mussels to broiled sea scallops and an overflowing fisherman’s platter. Potato skins are worthy of a mention for their generous portion, melted cheese and bacon bits. Among salads, we recommend the chicken apple walnut. The menu also includes stir-fries, Cajun chicken tenders, club sandwiches and rollups, as well as a nice array of juicy burgers. For dessert, try the house-baked apple crisp. After-work crowds jam the smallish space, which blends the vibe of a rustic tavern and fern bar; a younger crowd moves in late night for the drinks and singles scene, not necessarily in that order. |
