Belly up to the Giallo Siena Italian marble-topped bar, and sip on a chartreuse milk punch made with lemon and whey while snacking on a foie gras frankfurter or a petite jamon sandwich topped with a quail egg. The anticipation is over, as Boston's long-awaited Hojoko is now open. Located at the Verb Hotel near Fenway Park, the restaurant comes to us from the team behind o ya. Hojoko features sake on draft, sushi by the rolls and sumo matches on TV. Rosebud American Kitchen + Bar celebrates its one-year anniversary on September 18th with a luau-themed party. The event, which is being held from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., will feature live surf-inspired music, Hawaiian-style BBQ and appetizers, tiki drinks and games. Bondir Cambridge offers a three-course, prix-fixe menu weeknights now through the end of August to celebrate the final days of summer. For $55 per person, you can enjoy chef Brendan Joy's changing local dishes like lamb tartare, Scituate fluke and a honey vanilla parfait. The Palm Introduces a Late Night Menu
The Palm has introduced a late night Prime Bites menu, available Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. to close. Selections include everything from calamari fritti and cornmeal fried oysters to raw oysters on the half shell and a basket of cottage fries "chips," each available for half price. Raw August Returns to 51 Lincoln
51 Lincoln is hosting Raw August, a celebration of ceviches, crudos and tartares. Chef/owner Jeff Fournier will be preparing selections like scallop crudo, white miso salmon tartare, oysters three ways and pepper crusted beef carpaccio. On August 31, 2015, Sam's will close its second floor doors above the former Louis space in the Seaport District. Have no fear, though: The shutter is temporary, as the restaurant prepares for a late fall reopening next door in a new first-floor space.
