Enjoy Whiskey-Glazed Donuts through June
Skip the tie and power tools --- Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts in Boston and Saugus is partnering with Sons of Liberty Spirits to create the perfect Father’s Day treat: a whiskey-glazed donut. Available only for the month of June, the whiskey glaze is created using Battle Cry Whiskey, an American Single Malt born from a Belgian-style ale. The whiskey features hints of dark fruit and spices, such as anise and black licorice, with a subtle sweetness. Kane’s boiled down the Battle Cry to cook out most of the alcohol and then blended it with sugar, local organic honey and butter to craft a whiskey glaze. Kane’s two other flavors of the month are a devil’s food chocolate sea-salted caramel, and a butter pecan. Kane's Handcrafted Donuts, International Place, 90 Oliver St., Boston, MA 02110, 857-317-2654.
