ShabuMaru has taken over the space of the former Turner Fisheries location at The Westin Copley Place. The Japanese restaurant features hot pot tableside cooking with platters of prime rib-eye, boneless short rib, lamb shoulder and chicken breast, along with sashimi grade fish. Lunch & Dinner daily. The Battery Wharf Hotel Hosts Year-Round Firepit Snacking on the Terrace
Looking for something a little different than bistro dining at the Battery Wharf Hotel? Firepit snacks on the terrace include gourmet s'mores with marshmallows, crispy graham crackers and a choice of gooey chocolate, creamy peanut butter cups or fresh sliced bananas. Savory options include a Vermont cheddar fondue spiked with hard apple cider accompanied by a platter of seaonal vegetables, dried fruits and crusty ciabatta bread or an artisinal salumi plate of venison sausage and wild boar prosciutto. The firepits are open nightly with seatings at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended by calling 617-994-9000. Bronwyn Hosts Prototype Tuesday Nights Featuring Chef Tim Wiechmann's Creative Experiments
Chef Tim Wiechmann is at it again, showing off his creativity with prototype Tuesday nights at Bronwyn. Each dinner, which can be paired with regional wines, spirits and beers, is based on a theme related to Germany and the Central/Eastern Europe region. Some dishes to be featured are Serbian steak, Polish charcuterie board, Transylvanian lamb meatballs and Serbian hamburger. Prices vary each week. South Street Diner Hosts St. Patrick's Day Celebration
South Street Diner is hosting an 86-hour St. Paddy's Day party beginning on Saturday, March 14, and running through the official holiday on Tuesday, March 17. Special menu additions include corned beef and cabbage with Irish soda bread and a pint of Guinness for $10, Irish breakfasts with bangers, brown and white pudding and Guinness floats. Head over here on Sunday morning, and you will see some of Boston's finest fueling up for their traditional march in the South Boston parade. Liquid Art House Serving Brunch on Sundays
