Bourbon Steak Restaurant Review

: Chef Michael Mina's establishment at Levi's Stadium, helmed by executive chef Lee Bennett, is a formal, white-tablecloth restaurant, with high ceilings, marble tables and ample booths and banquettes in the classic steakhouse style. Wood-grilled steaks from certified Angus beef, dry-aged and American Wagyu are centerpieces of the menu, as are signature Mina items such as lobster potpie and black truffle macaroni and cheese. Chef Bennett brings some of his grand European heritage as well, offering tableside preparations of Dover sole, sliced sirloin and traditional crêpes Suzette, flames and all. (If they aren't on the menu when you visit, ask.) Other elaborate desserts include beignets with Scotch-soaked butterscotch custard, and a deconstructed cheesecake of artistic presentation. Flights of bourbon, warmed tableside to accentuate flavor profiles, are also available, and the wine, spirits and cocktail lists are extensive and of the high quality one expects from Mina. For more casual fare at Levi's Stadium, visit Mina's Bourbon Pub or Tailgate, a private-events bar space open to stadium members on game days.
