THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bozo's Restaurant Review: Bozo’s has been in its present location for about 30 of its more than 80 years in business. From the boiling pot come shrimp and crawfish (the latter served only seasonally) with just the right spicy kick, especially when a glass of icy beer is within easy reach. Fried oysters and shrimp may not be the best in town, but they'll do in a pinch. The restaurant’s true specialties, however, are raw oysters, home-style chicken and andouille gumbo, and fried catfish and shellfish. A slice of Key lime pie is a refreshing conclusion to a heavy seafood meal, but bread pudding and peanut butter pie are always on call. Bozo’s does not have a wine list, but offers a few choices by the glass. The dining spaces, defined by generic wood paneling and calendar-quality wall art, are hardly memorable. But order manages to triumph over chaos, even at the always-crowded oyster bar.
