| This two-story restaurant exudes a stylish elegance via chandeliers, exposed brick walls and dark crimson banquettes. Located in the former 33 Restaurant & Lounge space, the first level features an enormous wraparound bar, where one may sip on a signature cocktail, like the Brahmin blueberry lemonade made with Stoli blueberry vodka. Pair your drink with some small plates to share. The tapas menu includes tater tots, grilled chicken skewers, and scallops with bacon served in a sweet orange-maple reduction. We suggest the tender beef short ribs with cauliflower parsnip purée and pickled shallots. The large plate menu highlights sandwiches as well as a few heartier dishes like scallops and sweet pea risotto and steak frites. Crisp flatbreads feature unique toppings like steak and potato. Desserts seem to be an afterthought. On one visit, there was only one option---chocolate banana bread pudding---which arrived cold in the middle. |
