The design, somewhere between a futuristic airline hangar and retro fantasy, will make you say WOW. Wait until you get to your seat, though, because a camera takes your picture as you pass through the revolving door and displays it over the bar. For no other reason, Brasserie is a destination for the chic look, translucent tables, cantilevered blond wood ceiling and a bathroom that will make you think you landed on the set of Star Trek. Luckily, the decent French food that harks back to the spot's early days as a 24-hour Gallic diner of sorts, is comforting and traditional to balance the sensory overload of the décor. Expect good renditions of classic dishes like frisée aux lardons, onion soup, braised veal shank and coq au vin.
