What might look like an ordinary ham and eggs spot is much more, thanks to the creativity of proprietor Penny White, who offers a menu that includes everything from jumbo cinnamon rolls and baked French toast to omelets served in metal skillets, accompanied by fresh fruit and hash browns. Breakfast is her favorite meal, and it's easy to see why. Lunch doesn't play second fiddle, however, with such choices as Caesar salad from the original recipe, and Paul Prudhomme's version of crab cakes as well as an array of deli and wrap sandwiches to round out the bill of fare. She recently opened a second outpost in Brighton, but this one is still going strong.
