| This pint-sized version of the Blake Street Breckenridge pub adjoins the company's Denver bottling plant in the Golden Triangle District. But when it comes to pub merits, it holds its own with the Breck's esteemed beer list and killer barbecue. The bone daddies here hickory smoke their dry-rubbed slabs for hours, then serve them with a pair of sweetish sauces. The 16-hour smoked pulled pork is also dreamy, shredded loose and moist, piled high on slaw-laden sandwiches. The links are heavy on the BTUs; the beans are rich and smoky. Wash it all back with a pint of oatmeal stout or a fresh seasonal beer. |
