| The Bridgeway Café is a pleasant spot for a quick bite in downtown Sausalito. Many locals eat here regularly because it’s an affordable option in a sea of pricier, tourist-oriented restaurants. The large windows afford a view of the water, and light floods the small space. The menu isn't terribly ambitious, but you can get breakfast all day, and lunch features all the classics: good chicken burritos with ripe avocado, BLTs, and patty melts. The best option may be the most unexpected: a Mediterranean sampler that nods to the owners' Middle Eastern heritage, piled high with hummus, tabbouleh and cooked spinach and garnished with walnuts and a choice of chicken or beef. |
