 There's always a crowd at this high-end eatery in trendy Winter Park Village. With warm Tuscan colors and Carrera marble, the somewhat-noisy grill is best known for its generous portions, like the pasta fra diavolo with spicy tomato-cream sauce and shrimp or chicken. Our favorite starter is the beef carpaccio, served with mustard and capers, but the fried calamari and bruschetta are tasty, too, as is the wedge salad with crisp bacon and creamy Parmesan dressing. The thin-crust flatbreads are fun to share. Or, if you don't want to share, order your own wood-grilled salmon, a properly cooked piece of fish served with Romano-crusted tomatoes and fries. For meat-lovers, we recommend the bistecca alla Fiorentina, a strip steak grilled to order and topped with a light squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Dependable fare with no surprises.
