Brite Spot Restaurant Review

: Retro diners have popped up all over town, but why not try the real thing? Brite Spot has been serving eggs, burgers, melts and more for nearly 60 years. Though the restaurant went through a minimal change of d├ęcor, one can still find the candy apple-red faux leather booths and open kitchen. But regulars --- young Eastside scenesters, as well as Los Feliz families, complete with baby and nanny in tow --- pack the place for generous portions of old favorites. Choose between bean, turkey and soy patties for your burger, and beware the mountain of crispy fries that accompanies it. Heavier options like chicken and waffles, blueberry pancakes with lemon curd, and country-fried steak are also available. Sweets come from Delilah Bakery and Sweet Lady Jane. Sadly, in true diner style, espresso is not on the menu, so you'll have to stick with coffee.
