| The Brownstone's New Orleans-style courtyard entry leads diners into an opulent wonderland of unique antiques and art from around the world. And most everything in the restaurant is for sale---even the fine china, crystal and silver on the set dining tables. Small groups can gather in the intimate wine room or a semi-private dining room distinguished by archways and an exotic tented ceiling. Larger functions can be held in the Crystal Room with a mélange of sparkling chandeliers overlooking the restaurant's pool, a lush, tropical setting for terrace dining and cocktail receptions. Presented against this elegant backdrop are artfully designed dishes featuring Continental cuisine with a nod toward classical French cooking. The signature gourmet dishes, such as chilled avocado soup, house-smoked salmon and individual beef Wellington, are accompanied by a notable wine list. To top off the dining experience, a harpist offers classical mood music. |
