| The formula is right at Brugge, an authentic, Belgian-style gastropub with house brews, a casual vibe and surprisingly good fare. The menu includes paper cones of good crisp fries, steamed Prince Edward Island mussels, hearty stew accompanied with house-baked bread, and crêpes oozing with Nutella for dessert. Stop in for a bowl of Waterzooi, the classic Belgian fish stew, or linger over the brew of the day and a plate of sausages served with boutique mustards. The children’s menu suits young ones and even those who are not so young. The coziness of the small, dark room is made even more inviting with artistic touches and large, solid wood tables complete with cutouts for parking those aforementioned frites. Soup choices and brews change daily, mandating frequent visits. |
