Bubba's Barbecue Restaurant Review: While in the past we have thoroughly enjoyed Bubba’s barbecue, lately the tough ribs and dried out fried chicken we've experienced have fallen shy of the mark. The best bet these days is the barbecue sandwich. The sauce, a vinegar-based, peppery North Carolina-style formula, is spot-on; take a few bottles home. But barbecue is about the meat first, and the sauce second. In true Carolina fashion, ’cue comes with hush puppies. For dessert, the pecan pie is made on-site. No alcohol is offered, so prepare to enjoy your food with sweet iced tea.
