Bubba's Barbecue Restaurant Review

: Décor at this large, popular 'cue spot doesn't get the attention the 'cue does. Tables, chairs and a red-checkered atmosphere is about it. But you came for the 'cue, and you can’t go wrong with the barbecue sandwich at this classic go-to. The sauce, a vinegar-based, peppery eastern North Carolina-style formula, is spot-on; take a few bottles home. But barbecue is about the meat first, and the sauce second. In true Carolina fashion, the ’cue comes alongside hush puppies and in three portion sizes. For dessert, there’s house-made pecan pie. No alcohol is offered, so pair your food with sweet iced tea.
