For whatever reason, buffets are big business in Orlando. Perhaps its the variety, or maybe its the starving droves of theme park patrons who are hungry after doing laps around Epcot. In many ways, Buddy Freddy’s isn’t any more special than all of the other buffet restaurants. Unless, of course, you consider the food---something easy to do at most buffets. This local chain seems to put a bit of thought into their food. You notice it when coming upon chunks of spuds in the mashed potatoes, or in green beans that taste remarkably like the fresh vegetables mom used to make. All the southern favorites are here as well, including fried chicken, collard greens, sweet potato casserole, and okra.
