The Buffalo Club Restaurant Review:

The Buffalo Club resides in an anything-but-chic industrial neighborhood that may make you think you're lost, as the restaurant is fashionably hidden from the masses. This upscale bar-eatery is owned by writer-producer Tony Yerkovich, creator of TV's "Miami Vice." The dining format has been changed and now offers two different options: the sophisticated Iroquois Room and the al fresco Garden Courtyard. In the former, chef Patrick Healy presents upscale American comfort food along with some French dishes. You might find crayfish tails in a watercress purée, apple-soaked pork chop atop braised collards, and Colorado lamb loin with spinach-Parmesan bread pudding. There are even tableside presentations with the likes of Dover sole roasted on the bone and Niman Ranch tomahawk chop. Desserts (hazelnut brownie, nectarine crisp) tend to be winners as well. Meanwhile, the Garden Courtyard offers a separate menu of internationally inspired small plates such as oxtail dumplings, Korean BBQ Wagyu short rib, and collards with ham hock jus. The wine lists are also tailored to their particular settings, with the Garden Courtyard’s selections priced under $50. The Bar offers classic and craft cocktails made with house-infused syrups, fresh juices squeezed to order, and small batch bourbon, rye and scotch.
