Bukowski Tavern Restaurant Review

: This Inman Square hangout is just what Cambridge needed in terms of a casual, local burger and beer bar. The interior is a bright mix of retro diner and typical beer joint. Although the focus is on the beers with more than 100 brews available, the food has come a long way over the years. While you can still find a plate of greasy onion rings, a platter of nachos, and the locally famous White Trash Cheese Dip (made with American cheese, chili peppers, jalapeƱos, tomatoes and onions), there are also some surprising finds. For example, the curried cranberry chicken salad sandwich served on toasted sourdough is quite good, while the caprese sandwich is a light touch. We prefer to stick to the originals that put Bukowski on the map, however, like the Trailer Park Steak and Cheese sandwich or the Chili Cheese Mad Dog.
