| Since the Whopper was introduced in 1957 from its original home in Miami, Burger King is still a top competitor in the fast food industry. After telling diners to "Have It Your Way," BK decided to expand its menu to include more than just burgers and fries, with fish, steak, chicken, ham and later a breakfast menu.
