| The fanciest of the food trucks skirting around the city, GO Burger from BLT Restaurants serves high-end cuisine befitting of its Laurent Tourondel pedigree. Kobe hot dogs topped with apple coleslaw, spicy German mustard and pickled jalapeños; classic burgers made from sirloin, short ribs, brisket and chuck; and lamb merguez sandwiches have earned the respect of Manhattan’s food-obsessed while tourists flocking to the South Street Seaport also have easy access to some of the city’s top cooking. The BLT Restaurant empire encompasses BLT Steak, BLT Market, BLT Fish, BLT Burger and BLT Prime. Pretty much all of it is represented here and you won’t be disappointed. The food is prepped daily at the restaurants to ensure freshness, and all is cooked to order. You can have your burger just the way you like it and assuage your meat-induced guilt with an accompanying chopped salad. A nice range of shakes and Boylan sodas is offered, too. The truck sits at the South Street Seaport seven days a week. |
