The Butcher Shop Steakhouse Restaurant Review: The premise is simple at this steak-and-potatoes eatery: select a steak --- T-bone, filet, New York strip or rib-eye --- then choose a homemade sauce (hollandaise or peppercorn) and any extras, such as sautéed mushrooms or Cajun shrimp. Options other than red meat include grilled chicken breast, pork chops and Atlantic salmon. Diners may cook their own steaks, but the kitchen staff is happy to do it as well. Key lime pie or cheesecake round out a hearty meal. The Butcher Shop offers a decent variety of wines, mostly notable American selections, with more than 20 served by the glass. Fridays bring a burger lunch buffet with locally legendary onion rings.
