First, select a steak --- T-bone, filet, New York strip or rib-eye --- and a grilling temperature. Then the chefs cook the steaks on a large grill where customers can watch. Choose a homemade sauce (hollandaise or peppercorn) and any extras, such as sautéed mushrooms or Cajun shrimp. Options other than red meat include grilled chicken breast, pork chops and Atlantic salmon. Key lime pie or cheesecake round out a hearty meal. The Butcher Shop offers a decent variety of wines, mostly notable American selections, with more than 20 served by the glass. Fridays bring a burger lunch buffet with locally legendary onion rings. Sunday lunches feature steaks, as well as meatloaf and skillet fried chicken dinners.
