Buzz Cafe Restaurant Review: The self-proclaimed buzz at this nook has as much to do with coffee as the setting and likeable, organic-minded menu. Is it funky? Yep. Filled with moms with kids in tow? Without a doubt. The foundation of the menu is coffee (and tea), but there’s a heavy emphasis on salads, sandwiches, morning fare and, yes, items that are just for youngsters. Brie and chicken go glam with caramelized onions, sautéed apples and bacon in a honey-wheat wrap, while soups may be accompanied by gluten-free bread. Meanwhile, there’s a classic cheeseburger and tuna salad sandwich for traditionalists. Breakfast fare ranges from the organic special (eggs, bacon, toast or bagel, hash browns) to a bountiful breakfast burrito that will leave you stuffed for most of the day. Catering --- including baked goods --- eases special occasion stress.
