 Byron's is one of the more revered hot dog stands around. The menu ranges far and wide through all that Chicago fast food stands are known for: Vienna hot dogs, Polish sausage, hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, et al. The hot dog --- what Byron's is really known for --- comes with all the important bun-stuffing necessities: mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, peppers, pickle and celery salt. The Polish is a big one that sticks out a half-inch on either end of the steamed bun, and it has a nice snap to it. Thankfully, the fries are terrific, too. Best of all, everything is inexpensive.
