THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Cabin Room Restaurant Review:

In the middle of the urban landscape, a rustic cabin with animal trophies, country appointments and woodsy furniture presents a seriously man-friendly atmosphere. Game is a star, and could vary from evening to evening. The night of our visit the wild boar chops were tasty, even though cooked a little more than we thought appropriate, so be firm about your preferred doneness. Steaks are the next big deal meal, although there is plenty of seafood and fish for the non-carnivore. A pair of appetizers might do well, too. We very much liked the fried green tomatoes with a goat cheese cream and the super-rich creamy crawfish dip. Tender rabbit on fettuccine needed more assertive flavoring, but the composition of the dish was on the right track. The spinach salad with its sprinkling of real bacon and chopped boiled egg was peerless. Desserts, which looked pretty but lacked flavor, and the wine list need rethinking, however. That said, there still are plenty of good wines to be had, but some gaps---nothing sparkling and no dry rosé for that rabbit, for instance. But check out that fabulous Coriole Chenin Blanc with the fried green tomatoes. Awesome.
