THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cabo San Luis Restaurant Review:
At Cabo San Luis, father and son owners Joe and Dan Harper have fused a Baja-inspired menu with fresh Central Coast produce, offering it all at reasonable prices with fast service. Fish tacos are the signature dish, whether the crispy Baja style, the grilled mahi-mahi, or the shrimp. Other seafood items are available as well, but don’t miss out on the Yucatan-inspired “Cabo Avo” tortilla soup with both chicken and shrimp, or the hearty, slow-simmered pork chili verde. Everything’s handmade here, right down to the salsas, including the addictive green salsa made with avocado, tomatillos, cilantro and garlic. The casual atmosphere boasts a 500-gallon fish tank and a Margaritaville soundtrack inside, plus picnic tables outside, making it a popular---though not rowdy---spot with the college crowd, but it’s also a favorite hangout for locals as well.
