 The glorious home of the Philadelphia Orchestra is worth a visit on its own. But, it happens to have a very attractive, retro-chic New American restaurant on the second tier where you can have a cold seafood platter before the concert, or try a crisp lobster spring roll, an herbed-goat cheese burger, or olive oil-poached rack of lamb. The restaurant is only open when there are performances, so it’s best to call ahead to double check. A wonderful roof deck overlooking Broad Street is ideal for sipping bubbly and people-watching.
