| The Café at 2011 Walnut Street offers American comfort food at bargain prices, with the huge Rittenhouse steak salad a case in point. Twin tender filets top greens, crumbled blue cheese, bacon and mushrooms. You'd be hard pressed to spend $20 on dinner, and the quality is notable. Another fave? The moist cranberry turkey sandwich served on fresh focaccia. Desserts include bread pudding and a house-made brownie sundae. The kitchen stays open until 1 a.m. Enjoy a great view of Walnut Street in the front dining room, or tuck into comfortable oversize booths in the back near the bar. |
