Cafe 501 Restaurant is one of GAYOT's 2013

Cafe 501 Restaurant Review: Fresh and filling sandwiches, plus salads, pizzas and wraps make Cafe 501's flagship Edmond location a top lunch destination. The 501 bakery provides fresh breads for the sandwiches as well as the sweet treats to take back to the office. When the sun begins to set, the restaurant dims the lights and brings out the dinner menu, featuring recipes collected from throughout Europe and prepared by Moroccan chef Noureddine Bennai, who adds his own cultural flair to each dish. Wisely chosen wines and house-created libations complement the eclectic cooking. We recommend the brandied chicken with sautéed mushrooms in a velouté sauce, shrimp cappellini a la vodka, and grilled beef tenderloin served with a duo of sauces: au poivre and a chilled horseradish sour cream. Order your favorite fish, and choose its method of preparation: blackened, grilled, sautéed or roasted, with your choice of sauce. End the meal with a dessert from the bakery. Saturday breakfast and a popular Sunday brunch propose favorites like homemade brioche french toast and a Southwestern egg casserole. |
