Cafe Boheme Restaurant Review: Opened by Nick Jones of the Soho House group in 1992 and now renovated, this seems about as authentic a French brasserie as you can get outside the Parisian Peripherique. A large metal and wood bar dominates the front; comfortable banquettes invite you to sink down and order a kir royale, croque monsieur or escargots. If you're after more serious eating, take a table and order from a menu which includes French stalwarts such as fish soup, rabbit with Puy lentils and coq au vin. Nice wine list, cheery service and pavement tables on a sunny day. Daily changing plat du jour at £12.50 and a Sunday brunch and roast. Who needs Paris?
