 Executive chef Michael Mandato is at the stoves of this Taj Boston restaurant, turning out classics like Stilton glazed beef tenderloin and Colorado lamb served three ways, grilled Scottish salmon and chicken potpie. The menu’s international flair extends to a selection of Indian specialties, such as lamb rogan josh and chicken biryani. For dessert, we suggest the rich Taj Boston cream pie. The chandeliered dining room overlooks Newbury Street, and guests enjoy dressing up for dinner at this refined Old Boston-style restaurant. A wine of the month enables the sampling of varietals from all over the world. Each month, the restaurant also hosts a wine dégustation evening that starts off with a tasting in the Wine Cellar and culminates with a wine pairing dinner in The Café. Service is attentive.
