Cafe Chew Restaurant Review: Sandwich's popular casual dining spot Café Chew focuses on offering generous portions and organic ingredients whenever possible in fresh, house-made baked goods, breads and salads. It’s a good place to grab picnic provisions, or settle in and stay a while with a cup of java and the daily paper. (They make some of the best coffees on the Cape.) At breakfast, there's cage-free-egg omelets and grilled brioche french toast. Lunch features salads as well as creative sandwiches, including vegetarian options like goat cheese and roasted portobello with fire-roasted pepper purée, and grilled-to-order panini such as salami, ham and mozzarella with herb aïoli. The lunch menu is on offer at dinnertime Wednesday through Saturday. The tempting case of aforementioned baked goods --- think currant scones, croissants and cookies --- is available all day.
