Cafe Cibo Restaurant Review: Located amid a mix of small businesses and strip malls, this restaurant offers a rich mix of Italian fare with many traditional options. Appetizers range from the standard calamari to gamberi fritti (fried shrimp in garlic sauce). We suggest starting with the salmon gravlax, thinly sliced cured salmon served with chopped red onions and capers, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Entrées include a dozen pizza choices; we like the di mare with its shrimp, calamari, pesto, garlic, olive oil and mozzarella. Two dozen pasta preparations include a number of classic linguini and spaghetti, and the menu rounds out with a handful of pork and chicken main courses, most notably stuffed pork loin with prosciutto and Asiago cheese topped with a sherry mushroom sauce. Desserts are also traditional: cannoli and a chocolate torte.
