THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Cin/Cin Restaurant Review:
Café Cin/Cin, as the Crowne Plaza hotels only restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for tabs substantially lower than the pricier downtown hotel rooms. Thats not easy to do and still keep your food current and interesting, but chef/owner Henry Warmans New World Bistro menu has immediate appeal. Top appetizers are lemon-ginger shrimp, loaded with flavor from the grill and set atop crunchy rounds of fried green tomato; mussels in a dizzyingly good butter-garlic-Chablis broth; and the short stack of wild-mushroom pancakes drizzled with balsamic syrup. The Rapidly Becoming Famous house salad certainly should be; its the best---and best-priced---house salad in town. Budget-watchers can find some really good wine values, too. Servers are accommodating and friendly. With its casual but sharp setting, Cin/Cin is a good place to know about if you need a last-minute place to dine without reservations; its not as crowded as it should be for its quality and value.
