| Thanks to its family-friendly appeal, Café Deluxe has been a hit from the day it opened. Its classy Art Deco atmosphere and down-home American cooking seem to be agreeable to the taste of the boomer generation, whose members wait happily for such comfort-food dishes as roast chicken with mashed potatoes, grilled meatloaf with a spicy Creole sauce, and the roast lamb and goat cheese sandwich. Fortunately, management has opened locations in Bethesda and Tysons Corner to appeal to families and folks who crave American comfort food. |
