THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Fresko Restaurant Review: You’ll feel the love at Café Fresko, thanks to a warm welcome offered by Georgia and Nick Pappas, who opened the spot to showcase their son Demetri’s prowess in the kitchen. Chef Pappas delivers an inviting mix of Mediterranean-inspired dishes; the appetizer list ranges from steamed mussels in a red curry to crispy calamari and traditional moussaka, a throwback to the Pappas’ Greek heritage. Seafood shines, especially the grilled whole fish and a pan-roasted black bass with chorizo and savoy cabbage. Baklava is homemade. BYO.
