| Perfect for post-performance interludes, Café Intermezzo conveys the look and feel of the European coffee and pastry house in a nearly Baroque atmosphere. Sweet options feature tortes, tarts, pies, crêpes and cheesecakes and are the main draw. The style, more European than American, includes a generous dollop of authentic schlag (whipped cream). Savory dishes include soups, salads, a variety of sandwiches (including wraps and panini) and crêpes. Coffee is a major element among drinks options, ideal with these sweet endings. The wide-ranging wine list offers most choices by the glass, although availability may be haphazard.
