Unlike the city’s plethora of taco and burrito places, Café Marimba attempts to present authentic Mexican regional cuisine. The moles and special sauces are brought in from Mexico. The snapper ceviche can be good, and often the dishes with the imported moles shine. There is a good tequila list and a thoughtful wine list. The crowd tends toward the trendy.
