Cafe Montmartre Restaurant Review: This very casual French bistro with its enviable lake view has caught on in a big way---a phenomenon that may be attributed as much to the scenery, the sidewalk-café ambience and cool-weather weekend jazz as to the food. We liked the lamb roast, an occasional evening special, but the luncheon steak sandwich of too-thin beef was a major disappointment. A better choice would be the salade Niçoise, which boasts a healthy portion of tuna and greens. You may be happier with desserts, from fruit tarts and chocolate mousse to crème caramel and cheesecake. Martini aficionados will appreciate the special martini menu.
