Cafe Normandie Restaurant Review

: Inexpensive yet authentic French cuisine is served in an unpretentious, relaxed setting. French-owned Café Normandie offers quick in-and-out lunch staples such as quiche Lorraine, salade niçoise, stuffed croissants, crêpes, and crunchy-edged baguette sandwiches. Dinners take it a little more upscale, with hearty renditions of escargots de Bourgogne, boeuf bourguignon, sea bass with Normandie cream sauce and canard aux pêches, most dishes priced under $20. Tables are closely set and noise levels can get high. The wine list is short but appropriately priced, and the waitstaff is breezily efficient and friendly. Finish a meal with tarte Tatin, a classic velvety crème brûlée or crêpes with choice of sugar, Nutella or jam.

Best French Restaurant We Have Found In Naples, Florida

We found Cafe Normandie to be ideally located, affordable yet authentic French cuisine served in a comfortable, relaxed setting. Cafe Normandie offers lunch delights such as quiche Lorraine, salad Nicoise, stuffed croissants, crepes and freshly-baked baguette sandwiches. We have visited numerous times for both lunch and dinner. Delicious dinner selections include escargot de Bourgogne, bouef Bourguignon, halibut with Normandie creme sauce and canard aux peches. Thursday dinner includes all you can eat mussels. Cafe Normandie also offers a full wine list and domestic & imported beers. It seems to us that with the highest quality ingredients, a casually elegant atmosphere plus a friendly wait staff make Cafe Normandie the best choice for French cuisine in Naples and perhaps even Southwest Florida. Merci.
